SeanOK, let's get this more properly done, shall we? I'll warn you now: There's going to be a lot of hashtags coming up. This should help you decide whether to follow me!<br><br>Hello, I'm Sean!<br>I'm a <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/sysadmin" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#sysadmin</a> from <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/ontario" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ontario</a>. <br><br>My hobbies are widespread, as I am compulsively interested in absolutely everything at at least a surface level.<br><br>Hobbies that I maintain include <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/3dprinting" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#3dprinting</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/atari" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#atari</a> computers, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/snes" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SNES</a> gaming, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/ttrpgs" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ttrpgs</a>, reading and writing- those don't get hashtags because I don't consider myself at the level of enthusiasm to engage on these platforms- <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/boardgames" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BoardGames</a>, particularly <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/soloboardgames" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SoloBoardGames</a> these last few years.<br><br>A few of my favourites are <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/mageknight" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MageKnight</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/spiritisland" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SpiritIsland</a> and <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/imperialsettlers" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ImperialSettlers</a> for their robust solo modes. <br><br>On the role-playing side, I play both the common games (#D&D, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/callofcthulhu" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CallOfCthulhu</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/shadowrun" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Shadowrun</a>) and some of the indie-style games (#TenCandles, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/goblinerrands" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GoblinErrands</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/pewpewbountyhuntersinspace" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PewPewBountyHuntersInSpace</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/bladesinthedark" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BladesInTheDark</a>, <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/honeyheist" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HoneyHeist</a>, the list goes on).<br><br>I am also a fan of electronic gaming, and I love the idea of <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/pinball" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#pinball</a> and <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/arcade" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#arcade</a> machines, even though I've never owned a pinball table and I had to dismantle my homebrew arcade cabinet well over a decade ago (I've never had time to rebuild, alas). <br><br>There is a half-built <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/arduino" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#arduino</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/hotas" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#hotas</a> in my basement, which I've been working on very slowly since 2020. If I ever get it up and running, I will immediately use it to play <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/wingcommander" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WingCommander</a>, one of my favourite game series (at least, the first two + Privateer).<br><br>I am a huge hobbyist in the arena of <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/cooking" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#cooking</a>, less so about baking. I enjoy working with my <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/instantpot" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Instantpot</a>, I make a lot of <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/pizza" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#pizza</a> and other <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/bread" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bread</a>, I've made a variety of homemade pickles, I've brewed my own beer and <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/mead" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mead</a>, and I quite enjoy <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/mixology" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mixology</a>.<br><br>I love <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/popcorn" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#popcorn</a> enough that I got an 8-ounce concession popper for my basement.<br><br>I have two <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/cats" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#cats</a>, both rescues- one via the local pet shelter, one who just walked onto the porch.<br><br>I'm annoyed with how the <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/transit" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#transit</a> systems in my country have been deliberately crippled to make more profits for auto-makers and oil barons because I would desperately love to ride a <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/train" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#train</a> to work in the mornings, and I'd love to be able to <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/walk" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#walk</a> to... really anything, but even the "local" grocery store is a 2km hike each way, which doesn't work spectacularly well. This grudge has gotten me into <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/urbanism" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#urbanism</a>, particularly after I spent a week in Amsterdam in 2019 and saw how it could have been done.<br><br>Since trains are not a way for me to get from point A to B in a reasonable way here, I do a bit of car <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/camping" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#camping</a>, which I very much enjoy and, as you might have guessed from the name of my instance, I enjoy the <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/campfire" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#campfire</a> in many ways- building and tending a fire is a meditative experience for me, I love the scent of <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/woodsmoke" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#woodsmoke</a> and I quite enjoy <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/campfirecooking" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#campfirecooking</a>.<br><br>Finally, I enjoy <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/raspberrypi" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#raspberrypi</a> minicomputers, because I can run things like <a class="hashtag" href="https://campfire.farwalker.ca/tag/foundryvtt" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#FoundryVTT</a> or a personal website off them and get some of the feeling of the old internet back, where people built communities based on their interests instead of giant megacorps building a theme park ride.<br><br>That, at least, should give you some idea who this follower request is coming from!
