Hippasus500 aka jwn2Howey’s Silo Series of books has an interesting premise. There are sections that I thought were well-executed. But ultimately there are too many holes in his plot for it to be successful for me.I’m glad I took the time to read the books. I’m very curious to see how Graham Yost deals with the plot’s problems for the remaining two seasons. Opinions will differ ofcThoughts -<ul><li>the main plotline is being held to, vs the books</li><li>the enforcer role of the Judicary on TV. Cool, but is this even IN the books?</li><li>Love the casting of Tim Robbins as the IT / Silo head aka Bernard</li><li>I like the TV series hard drive discovery from Salvador Quinn, prior head of IT (who has a far more boring name in the books, I forget what)</li><li>Characters have been modified, not necessarily in a bad way</li><li>Book 3 'Dust' felt a bit meh, a scifi trilogy wrap-up. 'Wool' and 'Shift' were excellent reads. As are the three short stories</li><li>So much room for prequels/arcs, like the first two of the short stories. Eg. into the history of nanobot development, the science/politics at the time. Some of the controls in blender contribute to the differences in modeling, I think.I’m also trying to follow and be mindful of the overall anatomy instead of just rote copying the model. L.E.N.I recently watched 2 shows that I really enjoyed:- First season of "Silo". For fans of dystopian Sci-fi. I binged this in 2 days because it's so addictive. Can't wait for season 2. Plot: It's about people who live in a giant silo underground with a lot of regulations which they think are supposed to protect them from the toxic and ruined world on the surface. <a href="https://queer.group/tags/Silo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Silo</a>- Miniseries "The Fall of the House of Usher". For fans of thrillers/horror/Mike Flanagan. It takes place in 2023, however it draws elements from several different Edgar Allan Poe works. Plot: To secure their fortune (and future) two ruthless siblings build a family dynasty that begins to crumble when their heirs mysteriously die, one by one. I liked the aesthetics and all the Poe hints and references, and also lots of rich assholes die, wich is cool :) <a href="https://queer.group/tags/TheFallOfTheHouseOfUsher" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheFallOfTheHouseOfUsher</a>
