Kit OzI can't decide if this painted shell turned out interesting, or a dismal disappointment. It's supposed to be a tide pool with anemones, urchins, starfish, and barnacles, but... I was too excited by the subject matter of "tide pool" (I love tide pools), and didn't give enough thought to design.Next time, I'll focus on just one creature and perhaps some bladderwrack.I find that when a painting has gone wrong, it almost always went wrong in the initial design phase. I'm always sorry when I "wing it" instead of thoroughly working through questions on an initial sketch.
