SpujbAmerican churches teach charity and generosity, but ONLY on an individual level and/or directed at some acceptable recipient overseas. Direct, organized care for their own communities is anathematized as socialism.It will be interesting to see how/if these politics change in the event of mass hunger and governmental collapse.
