The one on the left in the first pic is a 7100/66, the right is a 7100/80.</p><p>The 66Mhz has a 250Mhz G3/L2 Crescendo card installed in its PDS slot, and a RADIUS INC ACCELERATED 24-BIT GRAPHICS I/F NuBUS video card. The 80Mhz has a stock Apple Power Macintosh 7100 VRAM expansion card and no processor card installed.</p><p>My goal is to put the best hardware of both machines into one. But will that Crescendo perform better in the 80 vs. the 66? anne. :heart_cybre_lesbian_1:<p>Yesterday, during my tinker times, I watched Colin's ( <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://bitbang.social/@thisdoesnotcomp" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>thisdoesnotcomp</span></a></span> ) video on his 7100 for assistance tearing down mine...and his video on his PowerBook 170 was suggested as a follow up view. He was able to get his PowerBook to boot by removing the battery. </p><p>I have two PowerBook 145s, neither of which powers on. One is in very poor shape. The other still had it's battery installed; the video reminded me I hadn't tried removing the battery when turning it on. Without, it boots just fine. </p><p>I'm not sure if that means there's an issue with the card or something software related.
