ShadowZoneThe first alpha release for Kitten Space Agency seems to get closer! Jack Zhang (📹🦝 Raccoon)<a href="https://mastodon.social/@ShadowZone" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@ShadowZone</a> What I really like: BRUTAL is coded to be closer to bare metal Vulkan.What I wish was better: Despite being opposed to abstraction layers, I think eventually looking into something like Slang (recently open sourced) would widely benefit compatibility. But certainly not there at this point. <a href="https://shader-slang.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://shader-slang.com/</a>What I have concerns about: Since BRUTAL is so close to bare metal, I do have concerns coding for it will have similar complexity to programming for the Cell Broadband Engine.
