Linux Is Best<p><span>The reason why your Linux install does not respect your themes, layout, or even your mouse pointer, is because you're likely using Gnome with Flatpak.<br><br>One of the many reasons why I suggest KDE Plasma. But I'm on full wayland. I did install the latest <a href="https://chitter.xyz/tags/fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fedora</span></a> kde spin update last night and it seems to have fixed whatever was spinning up my system as I locked screen after, checked and the system was idle and quiet. So maybe it was something else.</p>

It's not very fancy besides the split bottom panel &amp; the status bar on the left. I'm using Smart Video Wallpaper Reborn for the <a href="https://youtube.com/watch?v=5qhtj2bIpjg" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">wallpaper</a> &amp; the Plasma style, application style, &amp; window decorations are Oxygen. I haven't rebuillt <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/NixOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NixOS</span></a> in a few months and have high hopes that when I do all of these and other problems will be fixed 🤞</p>
