Delta SierraGot a bit more work done on Project Jolkswagen! My partner Asenzi helped pull the remaining seat and most of the bolts for the bars (there are still a few which are stuck). I pulled the HVAC controls, stereo, and dash cover.Next step is to pull the dash frame, and then I can really experience the questionable wiring done by the previous owner(s). Seriously, it's like "electrical fire" was a goal, not a thing to be avoided. We also need a special torx bit for the last few bolts. That's how I like to find amazing records. That's the kind of music Nice Biscuit make. Finding them was even more serendipity, as <a href="https://mastodon.design/@irafcummings" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@irafcummings</a> suggested a band (Crows) so I checked out other bands on Crows' label, and I stumbled across em. Nice Biscuit is a band of 3 dudes and 2 gals, they make amazing dreamy jangle psych fuzz pop/garage rock. Notes of Jefferson Airplane, Abba, Stereolab, Lush, Blondie (thanks to <a href="https://metalhead.club/@wendigo" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@wendigo</a> for the help analyzing). The two gals are the singers and the songs are beautiful, badass, weird, and well-written. Genius level stuff. This shit is a must-hear. No bad songs.
