DesertFOX<p>I was today years old when i found out: When you format a floppy diskette through Windows 3.11's File Manager, it writes a strange kind of boot sector to the disk. File system is declared as "FAT16", instead of "FAT12" and, although it's a German version, everything's in English. That's actually pretty annoying!</p><p><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/RetroComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroComputing</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Win311" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Win311</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/FileManager" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FileManager</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/FloppyDisk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FloppyDisk</span></a></p>
