When was the USA the “leader of the free world”? During the expansion westward? Slavery? When only white land owners could vote? When they occupied Hawaii? Invaded Vietnam? Supported Saddam Hussein? Supported apartheid South Africa? Supported despots in South America, Europe, and the Middle East? At any point during the last 400 years of capitalist exploitation of the planet and its people?</p><p>It’s time for people to take the opportunity of a seismic event to reevaluate the lies they were fed about the “free world”.</p><p>Here’s a hint. Cuba and the USSR supported the ANC whilst the USA and the UK supported the white apartheid regime.
