Dan Lerch<p>When it comes to digital sovereignty and building alternatives we’re going to need to think smarter, not harder. For example, instead of building another email server we could design a better service altogether. There has to be a more secure and efficient way to send asynchronous messages to colleagues. Email as a service hasn’t innovated since 2005 and if anything has gotten worse. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/digitalsovereignty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>digitalsovereignty</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/email" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>email</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/bigtech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bigtech</span></a></p>
