This week's #MusicWomenWednesday is one I can't stop listening to these last few days. I usually like to wait until a record is out and I've heard all of it, but these three preview tracks are so damn good, I wanted to share.
Glasgow's CLOTH is twins Rachael & Paul Swinton and their songs are incredibly great. Minimal, melodies galore. A new find for me this year (they have another cool LP from 2023).
LP 'Pink Silence' is out fully in less than a month, on April 25.

Amazing one for #MusicWomenWednesday. Japanese-Canadian singer/songwriter Saya Gray put out her magical debut album 'Saya' last Friday. Folk, alt-pop + rock sensibilities, synthy electronica & heavier guitar sometimes too. Saya's voice and finger picking- wow. 
Unique melodies and sounds. A contender.
Very cool.
I’ve long been searching for similar #electronica but with #Hawaiian-language chants. I once tried to innocently inquire about the existence of such in /r/hawaii on Reddit and within seconds the mods inexplicably banned me from the entire /r/hawaii subreddit.
I’m surprised nobody’s done this kind of music in Hawaiian but who knows, maybe someday. (Just don’t dare ask on #Reddit!)
I keep going back to this EP this year so I suppose I should say something about it. It's called Cyberpadania II and it's by this Italian project called NO LABEL (pronounced ˈno ˈlɑbɛl).
It's like, darkwave, downtempo electronica but CATCHY as all fuck and damn if I can't stop listening to it. Each of these songs kind of has its own feel, too- very cool hooks.

TIL that some of my music was used in a game called Onverse, which I hadn't heard of, but was apparently some kind of "virtual world" thing. I got a message from someone who said that the track is a "core memory of [their] childhood" from hearing it in part of the game (which I gather was called Splatball). How cool! Definitely made my day. This is the track in question ("More Than I Thought"):
