AlisaExercises from the watercolour course I started (and abandoned) last year. Although I have no will power to concentrate on precision in the evening, I can’t not notice I’ve improved in understanding - things just make more sense to me. All the same ideas (blending edges with the background, painting shapes not lines) but I “hear” it better this time. AlisaPopped into a local pub that launched an art wall today! Featuring local artists (no fees, all for community benefit) I was ill and swamped and didn’t even take a photo of my painting before submitting it back then. Took a pic of it today! So glad to be amongst local creatives. AlisaHad a swift chain of job interviews last week - went through all the stages in 3 days (got rejected in the end) Kind of ok with that as I now know this is possible, doesn’t have to spread over a few weeks like it often does. AlisaOops didn’t show the sketch from the newest sketchbook. Here it goes!It’s cute but that’s mostly luck. This paper has a mind of its own. Some patches don’t dry, like they’re covered with oil, the others take the water in just fine. Overall a very weird experience.
