Brent Guernsey, Artrocity Studio<p>Artrocity Studio presents the second in a series of snails that for some reason have household appliances instead of shells. This time it is a clothes dryer. </p><p>Wire, cardboard, paper mache, clear plastic (for the dryer door); acrylic paint and fixer.</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Artrocitystudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Artrocitystudio</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/mastoart" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastoart</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/sculpture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sculpture</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/papermache" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>papermache</span></a></p>
Brent Guernsey, Artrocity Studio<p>For inexplicable reasons, all Artrocity Studio birds have antlers. I decided to dig deeper to explore this evolutionary curiosity. </p><p>After exhaustive research, I found the "missing link," a squirrel-sized dinosaur with feathers and...antlers! </p><p>The Curator at the Nottingham Natural History Museum, Wollaton Hall, U.K., palentologist <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://sauropods.win/@AdamStuartSmith" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>AdamStuartSmith</span></a></span>, named it "Cornucervinumavis Saliens" or "Leaping Antler Bird."</p><p>It is placed in the Mesozoic Era, some 125 million years ago.</p><p>This priceless authentic, simulated fossil could revolutionize how science rationalizes these weirdo birds.</p><p>Cardboard, wire, and Sculpey Premo bakeable polymer clay. Acrylic paint and fixer. </p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/artrocitystudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>artrocitystudio</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/mastoart" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastoart</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/sculpture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sculpture</span></a></p>

Brent Guernsey, Artrocity Studio<p>Here is the latest from the Artrocity Studio. Cherished, honorary nieces gave me some marbles for Christmas in hopes I would use them as eyes in some art project. So I made a toad with marble eyes. The toad will be a gift for them; I hope they'll like it.</p><p>Wire, paper mache, Sculpey Premo polymer clay, acrylic paint and sealer. Oh, and marbles.</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/artrocitystudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>artrocitystudio</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/mastoart" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastoart</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/papermache" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>papermache</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/polymerclay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>polymerclay</span></a></p>
