This Is My GlasgowClock tower on the Streamline Moderne/Art Deco amenity block in Cathcart, Glasgow. SprocketTheCatThe tower of the art deco Boston Avenue Church peeks through a tangle of highway overpasses. Downtown Tulsa is surrounded and strangled by highways that cut off safe & convenient walking/cycling access from surrounding neighborhoods. Tulsa remains stubbornly car-dependent. McNige 🇳🇿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧The back end of some very beautiful cars. I'm no petrol head but I do appreciate fabulous design when I see it, these art deco inspired vintage American cars from the 50's are amazing. SewBlueI'm doing a sample to get the kinks worked out. The multi color beads break up the bead lines so well that you'd not be able to spot one leaf from another without some differentiation. So then went back and outlined in gold. Looks like I need to do the outline first to get nice, even lines in the gold.. Figuring out how to get solid coverage on the leaf tips is going to be tricky. SewBlueFabric and beads acquired. The leaves will be in the brown/gold seed beads, echoed twice in gold seed beads. The long lines will be bugle beads.And of course I need a bigger embroidery frame.
