Erik L. Midtsveen 🏴🏳️‍🌈<p>I started using Linux back in January or February 2020, and my first distro was Elementary OS 5.1. It felt like the right choice from the start.</p><p>Since then, I've tried a bunch of other distros like Arch, Fedora, Alpine, Linux Mint, Manjaro, and Paldo. But in the end, I fell in love with Debian stable.</p><p>Arch and Fedora didn't really sit with me, but I might give Arch another shot someday. Out of all the ones I tried, my top picks are Debian, Elementary, Mint, Alpine, and Paldo.</p><p>Today, I run Elementary alongside Debian on my laptop, and Debian on both my desktops. I love what Elementary does, but for me, Debian is number one, and Elementary is a close second.</p><p><a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Debian</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Elementary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Elementary</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Mint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mint</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Manjaro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Manjaro</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Arch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Arch</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/ArchLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ArchLinux</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Alpine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Alpine</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/AlpineLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AlpineLinux</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Paldo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Paldo</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/PaldoLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PaldoLinux</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Desktop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Desktop</span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/Laptop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Laptop</span></a></p>
