Flathub needs to make money somehow, especially now that the GNOME Foundation has financial issues, they will probably get a portion of app purchases, following the Google and Apple model, which some people might not like, but I think it's fair, especially because they only take 10% from FOSS apps. Unfortunately I can't afford to pay for apps but I can understand that FOSS devs also need to make some money to be able to work on their projects, and it also makes easier for users to donate to projects because they can donate to all projects from one place.)<br>(The only question is: will the payment system be implemented in software centers like GNOME Software, KDE Discover, Mintinstall etc., the CLI interface of Flatpak, and the new Flatpak management tool Warehouse.
