So, I instead went back to my laptop and did it there. This is now done by going into the editor, and selecting TOOLS >MARKETING; and then see the CONNECTIONS button on the page (right of the menu). Or HOSTING >CONNECTIONS, depending on how you’re logged in.Then hit the CONNECT button, sign into the Mastodon Account handle, approve the connection to WordPress by "authorizing" it. Marisabel MunozI have been making progress with the <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/webfinger" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#webfinger</a> and even the actor profile. But I still can't get it to show on Mastodon. Not sure where is it wrong. I've been comparing it with many tutorials, code bases and profiles. Only my old WordPress profile still shows. @marisabel@marisabel.nl Not sure if it is just time. The profile does work in rss-is-dead.lol and the webfinger also on webfinger.net . I still need to research more. wakest ⁂I write a lot of notes in <a href="https://social.wake.st/tags/Obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Obsidian</a> (<a href="https://mas.to/@obsidian" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@obsidian</a>) where I mention fediverse handles in the ``@username@domain.tld`` format. I always want to link it to their profile so I manually change it to ``[@username@domain.tld](https://domain.tld/@username)`` (or whatever the form of url the software they are using is) I feel like there should be a simple way to solve this with an Obsidian plugin that resolves <a href="https://social.wake.st/tags/WebFinger" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WebFinger</a> names or maybe some RegEx userscript macro would be easier? Anyone have a solution to my silly problem?
