Paul KnightlyWeather has been a lifelong interest of mine and I've been spending at least several days every severe weather season for the past 15 years chasing storms on the Great Plains of the U.S. Seeing a tornado like this had long been a bucket list for many reasons, most notably the clear view I was able to get from a safe distance, in combination with the fact that it did very little damage beyond uprooting some trees over the open countryside. This was one of several prolific storms that occurred on April 24, 2020 along the Red River Valley straddling the Oklahoma and Texas state lines.<br> <br> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Tornado?src=hash" title="#Tornado" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Tornado</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Weather?src=hash" title="#Weather" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Weather</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/SevereWeather?src=hash" title="#SevereWeather" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SevereWeather</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Thunderstorm?src=hash" title="#Thunderstorm" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Thunderstorm</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/WeatherPhotography?src=hash" title="#WeatherPhotography" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WeatherPhotography</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/LandscapePhotography?src=hash" title="#LandscapePhotography" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#LandscapePhotography</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Landscape?src=hash" title="#Landscape" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Landscape</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Nature?src=hash" title="#Nature" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Nature</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Storm?src=hash" title="#Storm" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Storm</a>
