Vegan Easy<p>🌱 Sweet Potato, Lentil & Pesto Pasta Salad🌱 </p><p><a href="https://www.veganeasy.org/recipes/sweet-potato-lentil-pesto-pasta-salad" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">veganeasy.org/recipes/sweet-po</span><span class="invisible">tato-lentil-pesto-pasta-salad</span></a></p><p>A very satisfying meal!</p><p>One of our Vegan Easy Challenge participants shared their concern about the possibility of not feeling full while transitioning to vegan...<br> <br>If you're thinking the same, here's what we suggest:<br> <br>Depending on what you're used to consuming, it could take a few days to figure out what foods you need to eat to ensure you're consuming the calories you need to feel satisfied, especially if you are making considerable changes to your diet. So:<br> <br>🌟 Include plant protein in your main meals because protein helps us feel satisfied and full. Plant proteins include tofu, tempeh, beans, lentils, peas, soy milk etc. There's also protein in whole nuts, seeds, as well as nut & seed butters (peanut butter, tahini, etc) which are calorie dense.</p><p>🌟 Include healthy fats like avocado (on toast or in salads, etc), nut/seed butters and some oils used sparingly such as cold-pressed flaxseed and olive oil.</p><p>🌟 Consume fibre-rich whole foods as they keep us full.
