Mixter Kit O'Connell<p>My latest: Last year, I covered the chaos as a peaceful protest for <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Palestine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Palestine</span></a> at the University of Texas at <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Austin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Austin</span></a> was attacked by state troopers and local police. Mixter Kit O'Connell<p>The narrative of "Outside Agitators" is back at the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/StudentSpring" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StudentSpring</span></a> protests over recent weeks, with campus leaders claiming the students aren't in charge. </p><p>To get to the bottom of this, I spoke with two supporters of the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Palestine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Palestine</span></a> protests at <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/UTAustin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UTAustin</span></a>. One of the people I spoke with is a grad student at UT, and the other an alumni, but only one is considered an "outsider."
