Friday is a bit of a manky morning, not exactly warm at just over 7ºC, overcast & quite windy.

Mrs S has gone shopping so that has left the house nice & quiet.

Gonna do my chores then chill out until she gets back.

#Yesterday: Beta reader day. Productive session with my primary beta reader and a wonderful discussion about being a professional and/or genre writer. Including private snark about people who are not like us, especially the self-righteous ones with no awareness of how self-righteous they are. (Self-righteously said.)

Spend evening and insomniac hours integrating feedback into three chapters. With some serious additions resulting in splitting a chapter.

#Today: Integrate one more chapter. Final review and posting of a chapter to second beta reader.

Read yet again what “Deep” means. Since I am alphaing a 1st deep POV, I should grok it better.

Then, more editing on the next three chapters to go to beta reader. And if time finally start first edit on chapters for my next volume. #NMKonbiniIdolWIP

Hey y'all . Happy "trash day" Thursday to ya.

I'm up n sorta stiffly moving this sunny morning. I'm thinking it's from actually working a few muscles that haven't been too active for awhile. So, I'm not sure what this old body is gonna let me do #today.

It's a pleasant 47deg start to #myday here #today and heading into the 80s. Yeah, that hot already and no rain expected to dampen my trip with the bin #today.

I'm wondering if some "nine-to-fiver" somehow drew their attention away from me to have em saving their rain to mess with somebody else's plans. That seems to be their action plans as of late. Nice all week and rainy, stormy stuff for the weekends.

Not that I care, them being my slack off #Slackerday's and sofa surfing #SofaSunday's. But kinda feel sorry for those who actually wanna do something useful then.

Welp. Enough thinking about stuff so early before coffee ️. Y'all have a happy Thursday.

I dropped my grandson off at a zoo class today. Then, I did a little wandering in the zoo.
I am still dragging from my end of February virus/pneumonia.
So, I walked to the giraffe building and sat down on a bench to watch them. It was so calm and peaceful. Until I started coughing (their hay, I think). I left because there was a couple trying to enjoy the peace.
I walked to the elephant's building. I got to watch the keepers work with Ruth - inspecting her trunk and her feet. She turned around on command, and they swept the bottoms of her feet, making sure all looked good.
Then Brtittany was let out into the larger area, and she enjoyed some veggies, hay, and water.
I left before Belle came out. It's a slow process, and there's no place to sit down.
The ladies looked healthy and happy. I took my leave of the zoo and have been puttering and napping.
Grandson will be here soon to tell me about his day.

Tuesday is a little overcast but there is a hint of a finer day.

We have tentative plans to go out for a trip to Chatsworth for lunch but there will be chores to do before that.

However to start there is coffee!

Oh no! here we go again. I hope this will not be the week I have yet another panic attack. I swear these must stop! I'm fully aware this happens right about this time of year then sometimes again in the fall or close to winter.
I feel so imbalanced as if something is going to topple over, I feel the energy shifts in mother earth as whatever happens is happening. I know this happens maybe once a year, still though for me and my ability to feel and sometimes control energies and others feelings, this is murder.
Sometimes like now, being an empath is a bit of a curse. I know I will get through this. It will take time and patience.

Good Monday morning, y'all.
I really didn't wanna get outa bed #today. Not only is it a gloomy, cloudy n wet start to #myday from raining all night and often really hard n noisily, but had the horrible n persistent though that I did my taxes all wrong.

So, the first thing, even before coffee, was to take a quick check. Thankfully, it was just a bad dream or something, and I won't need to spend today redoing em.

Now that I'm up n awake, it's time to sit back, calm down, and get busy sipping. ️

I sure hope y'all had a less stressful start to your day and that stressing less continues throughout your day.
I'm sure am hoping for that for me.

#Today started a little before 23 for me... My neck felt less sore, but my thumb was still being an asshat.

I visited the gym, but my leg would not even do half an hour on the bike.
We did have a nice SniffiVerse™ walkies.
I worked on my journal blog post, and it's almost done.
Had two more walkies with Arwen.
Visited Lidl for some groceries.
A relaxing on the couch right now.
Feeling a tad tired, and bummed over my stupid thumb not behaving right...

Hope your Monday is going well!

And something I keep telling myself: don't just be kind to others, but.. Be kind to yourself as well.

Monday already!
A bit of a brighter day here in deepest, darkest Yorkshire with the promise of a high of 13ºC later.

No real plans for today, we will probably have a relaxing day after yesterday’s adventures in Harrogate.

#yesterday Mainly worked on rough draft of a story set in Sung Dyasty China. It includes some Chinese based puns ( #scribesandmakers 3/23). And a Tang dynasty poem adapted to be a Bamboo branch song. Just learned that term yesterday. Esoteric be us.

Final Web novel draft of "Wild Ginger in Parting" finished.

Figured out how to cheat the paywall of another grammer checker. No hacking in involved.

#today Integrate beta feedback into "Tree Dreams."

Polish "Jinja Shadow" for new beta reader.
