Mika<p>I played more of <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/InfinityNikki" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#InfinityNikki</a> for a wee bit last nite on my <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/SteamDeck" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SteamDeck</a><span> before I slept and people were right - it's hard to explain what exactly you do in the game, but it's a lot of fun lol. It runs great (~30fps) on the Deck while docked to a 2K monitor, even better on handheld or 1080p screen.<br><br>Like a lot of (mobile) Chinese </span><a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/games" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#games</a>, it clearly takes up a lot of inspiration from <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Nintendo" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Nintendo</a> IPs like <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Zelda" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Zelda</a> <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/BOTW" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#BOTW</a>/<a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/TOTK" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TOTK</a> - but I feel like it's certainly done <i>right</i><span> in this game. Also unlike a lot of the other games within this aforementioned "group", Infinity Nikki seems to be a thing of its own rather than a clone/copycat.<br><br>Seriously, no reason not to play it. It's goddamn free - even if it's only on </span><a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/EGS" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#EGS</a> and not on <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Steam" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Steam</a>. (fr tho, why are these Chinese games, again and again, <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/EpicGames" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#EpicGames</a> <i>exclusive</i><span>???)<br><br>Update: Nvm, just remembered EGS is significantly owned by </span><a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Tencent" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Tencent</a><span> lol. That makes PERFECT sense now.<br><br></span>👾 <a href="https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/infinity-nikki-71fc64" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/infinity-nikki-71fc64</a></p>
