CoffeeGeek<a href="https://flipboard.social/tags/NCP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#NCP</a> Just dropped over $1,000 on Amazon (sigh), buying new lights, stands, soft boxes / lanterns to FINALLY upgrade my studio lighting.Been shooting for 15yr with the same lights: fixed 5600K (lol, not really) fluorescents in square softboxes. Was missing some things, like grids, easier abilities to direct light, etc. I also use diffusers and reflectors.I'm long overdue for a move to LED lighting. Got 3 80W Bi-Color COBs, and 1 150W RGB / Bi-color COB, all app controlled. Also 3 new octagonal Bowens mount softboxes with dual diffusers and grids, + big lantern softbox.What am I in for? Anyone out there make the move from fluorescents to LED, from fixed colour temperatures to precise, dial in colour temperatures?
