It's an interesting concept. </p><p>The rebels were / are in the right, but there are two views here.</p><p>"The rebellion against the Galactic Empire was a decades-long effort to overthrow the Emperor and restore democracy. The rebellion was led by the Rebel Alliance, also known as the Alliance to Restore the Republic."</p><p>The Empire, in turn, thought they were bringing order to the galaxy. They were wrong, of course. (And cruel as well.) Any of these individuals (the higherups, to be more specific) /could/ have the highest social status and wealth in a society. You never know. </p><p>Others, well.. They're in the lower class and struggle to make ends meet.
