Adam Demasi<p>The Apple Wiki blocks ~100k requests per week from AI bots. We have 51k articles and 290k edits. Before we blocked bots, we were seeing more like millions.</p><p>It’s also meant we’ve hurt legitimate bots that use our data, because we need to make broad guesses as to whether a request is good or bad.</p><p>I’ve been documenting the problems these bots are causing, over on Louis Rossmann’s wiki. I really wish I could do more.
