Crossing Corner :isabelle:<h2>News / Nintendo Direct: A sequel to Tomodachi Life has been announced for 2026</h2><p>Nintendo has announced the third game in the <a href="https://wetdry.world/tags/TomodachiLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TomodachiLife</span></a> series in today's <a href="https://wetdry.world/tags/NintendoDirect" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NintendoDirect</span></a> after Tomodachi Life (or rather Tomodachi Collection: New Life I think?) released on 3DS consoles over 10 years ago.</p><p>We don't have a ton of details on this yet, but the trailer makes it look as if it's going to be more of an open world game. It also looks as if the Miis now live in homes instead of apartments? </p><p>Regardless, it's super cool to see. I won't say I've got a ton of play time in it, but Tomodachi Life is such a goofy game and I really enjoy it. Weebdeluxe<p>Since today will probably feature our last Nintendo Direct for the original Switch, I am going to wish for a couple of games that really need a port.</p><p>Both The last Story and Pandora's Tower were super important games on the Wii to me. They deserve a much larger audience than they initially got.</p><p>Same goes for Disaster: Day of Crisis for the Wii. A complete oddbal mix of survival, exploration, action and lightgunshooter that was charming and fun. Only ever released in Europe.</p><p>The original three Project 0/Fatal Frame games need to be revived as well. Crossing Corner :isabelle:<h2>News / Anniversaries: Animal Crossing New Horizons turns 5</h2><p>I forgot to post this despite literally knowing that this was coming...</p><p>Yesterday, Animal Crossing: New Horizons turned 5 years old (that's crazy to believe). It released globally on March 20th 2020, after originally being scheduled to launch in 2019 (from my memory anyways).</p><p>It's honestly hard to process that it's been 5 years already. It doesn't feel that long ago when I was watching people playing the game early through various means and rushing to play the game as soon as it came through my door (I pre-ordered it physically and got a nice Nook keychain which I've never used lol).</p><p>Do you all have any memories of launch day to share?
