FlakyWas racking my brain as to why MusicBrainz kept rejecting my requests on my C# MusicBee plugin specifically, even when everything worked via a manual cURL request.Turns out, I overlooked the fact that MusicBrainz will reject it if you don't have a proper user agent. ColinFor you music library folks, how is something being "higher quality" determined exactly? I sure hope it's not purely looking at file size or codec/bitrate. One other huge factor I consider is how the song is mastered/mixed. Can it compare the waveform and spectrogram of a track and see if it has been loudness-warred / peaked-out / dynamic range crushed? FlakyIn 2023, I wrote a plugin for MusicBrainz Picard that lets you submit your tags for a given track to the tags for its equivalent recording entity on MusicBrainz. The intention was to make it easier to submit tags so whatever systems MusicBrainz is using tags for (like ListenBrainz's recommendation engine) will have more data to work with.And uh, fast forward now when my hard drive with all my music library died. The minimum version of Docker Compose will go to v2.
