Ludibriumventis<p>I got a couple of simple knit capelets, and am turning them into couture (forestcore? Goblincore? Haru春 || Genna :boost:<p><span>Something I think a lot of artists do, almost no matter the medium, is trying out some new tool or material just to see if they can fit it into their work, if they like the results, a sort of speculation if you will.<br><br>I did exactly this with a 2m roll of walnut veneer, with no specific plan of what to do with it, just to have it in my hands and see where it takes me. <br><br>Well, it definitely took me somewhere, learning the limits of the material and seeing the results I get has been so much fun that I'm almost out of it!<br><br>So that for me was a very successful speculative purchase, and I'm now happily shopping for some more, armed with more knowledge and more focused plans for it, it's a nice feeling! </span><a href="https://transfem.social/tags/makingstuff" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#makingstuff</a><span> </span><a href="https://transfem.social/tags/art" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#art</a><span> </span><a href="https://transfem.social/tags/wood" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#wood</a></p>
