Robert KingettCan someone recommend me a screen reader friendly <a href="https://caneandable.social/tags/XMPP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#XMPP</a> Client for iOS? Needs to also handle outgoing and incoming calls and the ones I've tried, Snikket, Monal, Siskin IM, all have uniquely different accessibility issues so I need to keep all 3 of them because one is better in only one area the other 2 aren't. I have a JMP number, and would eventually like to move everybody to that number instead of my Google Voice number but I like sending text messages via my email client, and I like the ability of calling people from my desktop, and absolutely none of desktop <a href="https://caneandable.social/tags/XMPP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#XMPP</a> clients for Windows are screen reader accessible except for Miranda IM. I tried to get MicroSip to work on JMP for phone calls and nothing! Robert Kingett backupIf you're looking for a Google Voice alternative that works across browsers and apps, give JMP a try. You interact with the service through a bot, so the actual service is accessible, it just depends on the <a href="https://tweesecake.social/tags/XMPP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#XMPP</a> client you use. I personally recommend Miranda NG on Windows, but it is a great way to have multiple VOIP phone numbers and not give out your real number.One thing to note. If you want to close your account, you need to contact support, so I wouldn't try this unless you are really sure you wanna keep it or at least use it for a long time. While customer service will delete you with no fuss, still, I wish there was a self delete option.That being said, if you wanna try it, grab an invite code below that gives you a free month.
