Calico Jesse<p>Played in a big Apocalypse game yesterday. It was awesome seeing all my guard on the table, but it does also show me how much I need to paint.</p><p>I got crushed by bugs but I held the line (with the help of some allied marines) for longer than most of my imperium allies. Calico Jesse<p>Final battle was against the ultimate winners of the tournament, but we gave them a good run for their money. </p><p>Salamanders and Black Templars. </p><p>I was able to soften up the marines when they were outside of vehicles, but there was a nasty group of melta marines who popped in and out a land raider most of the game. Calico Jesse<p>Played in a doubles 40K tournament yesterday. It was fun, but a long day. I played my Imperial Guard and my teammate played Custodes. Calico Jesse<p>Second game was a little tougher. This time an Eldar space marine alliance. </p><p>There was a wraith blade unit that tied up one of the three Custodes units for most of the game.</p><p>The marines were all tanks and a primarch, so we mostly ignored that flank and focused on destroying the Eldar. Calico Jesse<p>First game was against two space marines.
