𝐿𝒶𝓃𝒶 "not yet begun to fight""I'm finding it hard to vote for Biden because of Palestine" I know. I get it. I really do. Thousands of Palestinians are dying because of Joe Biden's policies in Gaza. And it might seem ghoulish of me to ask you to hold your nose and vote for Biden. But that is what I'm going to ask you to do. Here are 5 reasons I'm asking you to vote Biden anyway. 1. Democracy Voting against Biden is a vote against voting. Trump's Project 2025 and Project 47 both mention a systematic consolidation of power, removing the people's ability to govern, and placing that authority solely in the hands of Trump or Trump-appointed officials. If you want to vote for someone with better Gaza policy in 2028, you need to vote Biden in 2024. Trump's policies are explicitly fascism. 2. Muslims Voting against Biden is a vote to increase the suffering of Muslims. In Trump's Project 47, he specifically says he wants to reinstate the Muslim ban, effectively criminalizing Muslims as a religious group. This is immigration policy which is explicitly pro-religious extremism and explicitly pro-racism.3. Women Voting against Biden is a vote to increase the suffering of women. Trump has taken credit for repealing Roe v Wade, stripping women of our bodily autonomy. Trump has stated many times in public interviews that he wants that type of legislation to go much, much further. Even as far as "punishing" women who seek abortions in states where it is legal. This is internal policy which is explicitly pro-misogyny. 4. LGBTQs Voting against Biden is a vote to increase the suffering of LGBTQ+ people. Trump's Project 2025 specifically mentions "eliminating trans people" and "removing all mentions of gender confirming healthcare, gender identity, gender presentation, and LGBTQ people" from all legal documents, everywhere. This is internal policy which is explicitly pro-LGBTQ genocide.5. Palestinians Voting against Biden is a vote to increase the suffering of Palestinians. Trump has said he wants to "finish the job" in Gaza. Lindsay Graham has suggested using nukes. Biden's policies are bad for the people of Palestine, yes. Agreed. Trump's policies are far, far worse for Palestine.
