Derek Guder (he/him)<p>I finally finished <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Frieren" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Frieren</span></a> and really enjoyed it, even if the second half completely changed the vibe and it could stick the ending.</p><p>Since I was enjoying the D&D-isms of it, I figured I’d finally try the other big recent fantasy <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/anime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>anime</span></a>: <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/DeliciousInDungeon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DeliciousInDungeon</span></a> and I did _not_ like it. The first two episodes had nothing beyond food porn wrapped in D&D tropes. No spark, no promise. Shocking, considering how universally it’s praised.</p>
