Anyone I know in these parts playing Fallen London nowadays? I've been poking at it in breaks lately, so happy to hand out some small Feast of the Exceptional Rose gifts if anyone wants to tell me where to send them!

I'm at a strange point in #FallenLondon. Despite trying to play it as a single player game, I can't progress unless someone else sends me a specific kind of letter.
I could ask on Discord, but I'm not in any Fallen London discords, so it's easier to ask here.
Question:
If you play Fallen London, do you have 5 levels in "Steward of the Discordance"?
Will you send me a letter of what your character knows about the Discordance?
Fallen London calling me out here
A recommendation for you from me:
Try this web-based, free to play casual video game with simple read & click mechanics that I've been hooked on all summer with no signs of slowing down.
I have a whole blog post as my pitch for why you should play it. (And be my friend; I'll soothe your nightmares and later we can send mutually enjoyable assassins after one another if we so agree)
Indigo, the colour most often forgotten from the rainbow - and my art, by the looks of it! It is great for those pops of colour that draw your attention.

An illustration of my Fallen London character, Yoannete, dreaming about their past life back on the surface ft. their animal companions <3
I drew it for a zine consisting of master studies (i.e. learning by studying and redrawing the work of past artists). The composition is based on a beautiful oil painting by Frank Bramley, “When the blue evening slowly falls” (1909)!
Character sheet for my Fallen London OC, The Starry-Eyed Poetess
This is just the start and some details may be changed later on. I'd also like
to add more looks in the future.
btw I'd love to do more character design & sheets like this, my commissions are
open for that too! :D
Parrot studies turned into a concept of the Fallen London parrots, the Blue Prophets. With bonus Poetess in casual zeefaring clothing showing off her Chambers of the Heart tattoo!
Fictional torture
I read a short story long ago where the premise was that an alien race would only interact with people who they had extensively tortured first. The MC was a human who was sent to them to convince them to stop it with the torture. But before they would listen to him he had to go through all of the torture, and by the time they were done he had bought into it and didn’t want to tell them to stop.
On an unrelated note, let me tell you why you should play #FallenLondon.

Hey you? Yes, you! I know you secretly play Fallen London.
I tried it a good decade ago and have recently considered picking it back up. But my moments of spare time for a browser game have shifted a lot and most of the “I can spare a few minutes" events are now on train rides to/from work.
How mobile browser friendly is Fallen London these days?
Anyone here play #FallenLondon?
Fallen London, world-building, musical, video link
If you're familiar with #fallenlondon either through the browser game or Sunless Seas, you might enjoy

It's quite #Lovecraftian, and the descriptions aren't just beautiful, they hint at alluring/terrifying depths. I have no idea how deep the #worldbuilding actually goes, (though the intricacies I've seen suggest it's pretty extensive!) but the fact it fires the imagination even if it never does deliver more lore shows how effective the writing is.
I highly recommend playing at least #SunlessSeas, if you like dark atmospheres, #eldritch horrors, sunken dystopias, vast and unknowable empires, and ravenous leviathans. #gaming
Hello, I'm Singingflame! I'm a 40-ish procrastinator and writer who's trying to get into the habit of finishing what I start. I've been lurking for a bit and thought it was time to make an #introductions post. I'm mostly going to be boosting weird shit that inspires me and making incomprehensible comments about whatever I'm currently fixated on.
i want to make a browser-based furry game, but i don't know if i want it to be a #petsite (like #Neopets) or more of an rpg (like #FallenLondon). i think i like the idea of having "characters" of unique species (like NP) but exploring rpg scenarios with skill checks and branching paths
Hi! New instance, new #introduction I'm Kal, a queer filipino with chronic Just-A-Lil-Guy-ism. If I must be perceived I'd like to be thought of as "good uncomplicated company", but honestly I might be unhinged? I'm prone to making text walls and playlists when I have brainrot. I enjoy talking to new people about the things we care about, and I love to rage as much as I love to hope.
Expect a lot of boosting, personal blubbering, and fandom excitement.

Interact with me
@grumpygamer I still do Twitter and Reddit because I don't actually need to burn all my bridges to be in the Fediverse. And yes, I have done that in the past. I still miss LiveJournal but that is dust and ashes. My last FB post was warning people that if you see "me" there it isn't ME.
I'm active on Reddit posting nonsense on certain game subs (hello, #fallenlondon !) and will fart about on Twitter. But Dreamwidth and Pillowfort aren't good on phones (yet) and I faff about here. I like it here.
@lowqualityfacts Tricky, tricky about The Cannibalism Question.
If I'm playing #Skyrim then yes: the Ring of Namira is *essential* for a Vampire Lord!
If I'm playing #fallenlondon then I avoid strange voices from wells and would rather avoid swallowing my own teeth.
Otherwise I would avoid the brain- too much cholesterol and can carry prions such as CJD. Otherwise pair as you would with pork (a good hearty claret or ale or perhaps a Cider, depending upon seasoning).
