SynAck aka Little Sunshine
I saw a pretty slick Skyline GT-R on the drive home, with a matte black paint job and a great-sounding exhaust system.

Being a "car guy" has become a source of great inner conflict for me over the past couple of years. The most interesting and fun cars to drive also come with astronomical price tags and so the thought of being well-off enough to own even just one of them fills me with a weird sort of self-loathing because I can't countenance doing what I'd have to do to be in a position to buy one.

I already drive a sports car, and it was overly expensive enough (however, it was from the proceeds of being part of a tiny company that got acquired by a much larger one, so I was lucky) but it wasn't really priced in the "out of the realm of possibility for average people" range (although it would certainly have been on the upper end of that, for sure).

Ugh. I want some of the cool things that being affluent affords, but I'm no longer willing to become a douchebag and sell my soul to get that affluence, and I'm kind of irritated that I was willing to do it at some point in my recent past.

#IntrospectionSunday #ExistentialCrisisSunday #SayNoToDouchebaggery #FuckCapitalism
