DesertFOX<p>Als Sammler von Retro Software gibt es für mich kaum etwas spannenderes als eine noch original eingeschweißte Schachtel auszupacken und einzulesen. Das Ganze wird nochmal cooler, wenn es sich dabei auch noch um eine extrem seltene Version handelt!</p><p>IBM DOS 5.02 war die letzte Fassung überhaupt, die noch mit QBasic und dem DOS-Editor ausgeliefert wurde. derSammler<p>Finally, it's done. Shoveled some games, demos, and tools onto it to showcase the PicoGUS in its various modes. Wavetable is working great, too. 🙂 </p><p>Windows 95 runs particularly well on the system, despite "only" being a DX4-100. congusbongusgames<p>This week I've made a major breakthrough with <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/OpenCrystalCaves" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenCrystalCaves</span></a> - decoded the <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/CrystalCaves" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CrystalCaves</span></a> sound files, so now the game has sound!</p><p>This was a goal from day one but the reverse engineering proved tricky. It didn't help that the wiki page was misleading (the data file actually has footers, not headers).
