C.<p>Starting around Windows 8, Microsoft has continually added more and more things to <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a> that the users absolutely, positively do not want. Adding <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/ads" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ads</span></a> - <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/commercials" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>commercials</span></a>! - to the <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/desktop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>desktop</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/OS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OS</span></a> that are actively user-hostile is conclusive proof of this. They are no longer trying to serve the <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/user" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>user</span></a>; they are trying to *attract* the user so they can be sold for profit to <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/advertisers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>advertisers</span></a>, databrokers, and other assorted <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/evils" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>evils</span></a>. Windows 11 is actively anti-user.</p><p>2/x</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/DataBroker" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DataBroker</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/hostile" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hostile</span></a></p>
