Delta Sierra<p>Progress pictures on the Jeep!</p><p>My partner Asenzi did most of the work here, since she took it apart in the first place. In a nutshell, a friend hired her to pull the HVAC box from this car and move it to his (identical) car. I bought this one off of him for next to nothing, and Asenzi assembled another HVAC box from a mix of new parts and junkyard pieces. She's doing most of the work putting the interior back together, while I focus on the brakes, transmission, suspension, and wheels/tires.</p><p>We got about halfway done before we ran out of light, and I'm hoping we'll have the interior back together by this weekend. At that point I'll have the brake components, and while I'm replacing those I'll also remove the previous owner's ill-advised 2" lift kit (ugh). Then I can take it for a test drive and start troubleshooting the transmission!</p><p>Always nice to keep a vehicle out of the junkyard!</p><p><a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/upcycle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>upcycle</span></a> <a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/diy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diy</span></a> <a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/repair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>repair</span></a> <a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/automotive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>automotive</span></a> <a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/car" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>car</span></a> <a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/project" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>project</span></a> <a href="https://furry.engineer/tags/mechanic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mechanic</span></a></p>
