wielder of the zero-trust void<a href="https://mastodon.social/@itsmeholland" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@itsmeholland</a> it's the same problems that political lesbianism had, which many "all het sex is rape" feminists espoused.men, generally, are not the problem. conservative men are. many men are allies to women, even very strong allies. <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/4B" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#4B</a> paints all men with the same brush. capitalism and patriarchy hurts men too.there is also a few other main problems. het women (trans or cis) don't have another choice for sex/intimacy, and an innate need for most humans. it also feeds into the "man hater" rhetoric. not that i care about that personally. but optically it's a problem for the "average voter".finally, many women (and their kids) have to rely on their partner's incomes. so, it ignores class' intersection with patriarchy. men *are* still in power, so cutting them out entirely isn't a choice for many women.about the transphobia, the ideals of 4B itself aren't transphobic, after all trans women can also opt to not have relationships or sex with men. the transphobia stuff is section of the original south korean movement. think terfs. *as i understand it*, trans women are distrusted as "just men trying to find a way to get around the 4B rules".
