This side of my sofa has always been a bit annoying. The side table is on the other end so there was nowhere to put your drinks, and your phone would regularly slide off.
Designed this panel that slides over the arm and has a slot for a drink and a phone.
I’m new to 3D printing.
Should I get the Creality Hi as my first 3D printer?
I love written reviews. Anyway, for any #blind #3dprinting folks out there, this is a written review on the Qidi +4. Not only is it a review but it describes the unit in detail and also the setup process and other information as you might expect from a written review/tutorial. I think many will find this informative. https://basic-tutorials.com/reviews/gadget-reviews/qidi-tech-plus4/
Annoying printer problem: today my printer has decided the z axis should only ever move down never up. Up commands result in moving down. I hadnt changed the config at all since it printed fine two days ago.

This might be a dumb question but when #3DPrinting, if I want to print the same model multiple times, then is it better (and faster) to print one at a time? or copy and paste the model multiple times in the slicer and then print all of them at the same time?

Yeah, I’ve been catching up on Severance. Why do you ask?

I have to find a repair shop near Manassas that can help me to repair my #3DPrinter. Really sucks because while its just a stock Ender 3, I haven't been able to use it in a while thus far and it sucks, I'd repair it myself, but I tried everything from clearing the nozzle to replacing the Boden tube and nothing seems to make it work. #3DPrinting
Found a spool of filament I had stored somehow got cracked. Filament itself is still good, but I should probably move it to a different spool. Problem is the only types of spool transfer/winders I can find are:
1. Too simple. Nothing more than a way to attach a spool to a drill, which would work, but likely messy.
2. Too large/complex. Takes up way too much space and/or uses tons of extra hardware I'd have to order and then I'd have to find a place to store it.
Have a motor, and a part that need to attach together, the design is based on a coupler that is sold by a store in aus. It's very much not sensible to try and get the part from aus.
So I'm gonna make it. I have access to a machine shop afterall. But before I can machine it I need to finalise the design.
Rapid prototyping to the rescue. A few mins with openscad to make a 3d model, throw into a slicer, and now it's printing on the resin printer.
what’s your favorite #3dPrinting filament and why?
